Gold llama

I went to the GLAM-WIKI conference in London which I may talk about in latter blog posts. Instead I want to talk about a gold llama. Number 73 in the British museum’s A History of the World in 100 Objects wikipedia’s previous pic was somewhat blurred. My attempt is here:

It was taken using the standard jam the lens of the camera against the glass to get around flash reflection. The llama is towards the bottom of the pre cropped photo so the image is largely unaffected by the flash bouncing off the back of the case.

One problem is the one of showing the scale. The item in question is only 1.5-2 inches high but there is not really anything to indicate this.
